Here you can taste the diversity of the region for yourself at selected wine tavern partners. On request, Therme Laa also rents out bicycles & e-bikes for your bike tour.

BACK TO THE ROOTS

If you are looking for a special nature experience for your team, you will definitely find what you are looking for with the wilderness basic courses from “Wildnisleben” /Wilderness Living/ and “Native Skills”: Participants are taught a wide range of survival skills on the courses and can acquire know-how about the local natural environment in a fun way – and also take a lot away with them for everyday life.

FOREST LEISURE PARK

A special kind of nature experience in the heart of the Weinviertel Region: At the forest climbing garden in Kreuzstetten, an oak forest is covered with various courses. Dadurch können bei größeren Gruppen auch einfach mehrere Routen gleichzeitig in Angriff genommen werden. After putting on the safety equipment and a briefing, you’re ready to go.

FULL CONCENTRATION

Sharpen your focus and concentration during a joint archery event: after a short introduction, participants learn the correct stance and how to use the bow correctly.

ON THE BREAD-BAKING COURSE

Look over the baker’s shoulder and learn interesting details about this centuries-old traditional craft. The reputable Stoiber family bakery in Laa an der Thaya offers baking courses for groups of up to 15 people.

FOLLOWING THE WINE

Get to know a typical Weinviertel winery together with your team and take a look behind the scenes and into the cellar vaults. Of course, a wine tasting is also a must. We would be glad to organise a visit for you!

HUSKY TOUR

The best results are achieved together: What applies to a team in a company applies all the more to an exciting sledge race with huskies. Fun and amusing situations are practically pre-programmed – but you also need to learn how to handle the intelligent animals correctly: Become the pack leader and guide the team successfully to their destination.

THE PATH OF STORIES

The Iron Curtain Trail takes you and your team on a historical journey through the Waldviertel and Weinviertel Region. Follow in the footsteps of the Iron Curtain by bike as the predominantly flat path winds its way through the region. Enjoy the view from one of the many observation points and visit the monuments and memorials that commemorate the history of the division of Europe.

INSIGHT INTO AGRICULTURE

Accompany the passionate farmer Fred from BOA Farm for a few hours and not only get to know his 600 cattle, but also benefit from his wealth of experience as the manager of his farm. A joint lunch or dinner afterwards invites you to discuss your impressions at length.

FOREST BATHING

This experience has nothing to do with esotericism and hugging trees. Rather, it is about mindful immersion in the forest habitat and the scientifically proven positive effects it has on the body and the immune system. With simple exercises, participants can reduce stress and find more peace.

ALPAKA TREKKING

What’s better than a fluffy alpaca? Exactly: two fluffy alpacas. Together with Manuela from the Siebenhirten Alpaca Farm, participants can get to know these two sensitive animals on a hike through the Weinviertel Region. The programme is designed for a maximum of 10 people and is suitable for all seasons.

HEURIGEN VISIT

What would a holiday in the Weinviertel Region be without a visit to a wine tavern? In the nearby wine village of Falkenstein, you can look forward to Heurigen classics and contemporary interpretations of Weinviertel cuisine at the Stadler winery. Wine lovers can also familiarise themselves with the company’s extensive range during a tasting.

Steak-Tasting

Barbecue champion, master butcher and meat sommelier Adi Matzek offers a wide range of team and barbecue events at our resort. At the steak tasting, for example, many international steak varieties are tasted in a blind tasting. Barbecuing becomes a joint team event, enjoyable entertainment and a flavourful highlight!
